Description

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a board eligible/board certified, fellowship trained, Surgical Oncologist to join our established and dynamic surgery group at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. North Fulton Hospital is a 218-bed, level 2 trauma center located in Roswell, GA. Ideal candidates will be experienced surgical oncologists with interest and experience in robotics, general surgical oncology, academics, and clinical research.

Our Surgical Oncologists take care of all complex general surgical oncology patients for Wellstar Health System including, but not limited to, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, esophageal, gastric, colorectal, melanomas and sarcomas. They offer advanced procedures including cytoreduction and HIPEC and have established an advanced minimally invasive surgical oncology program here, including robotic foregut and hepatobiliary surgery. North Fulton has an XI and SP robot available to surgeons. The office is located across from North Fulton Hospital with possible future plans of expanding to additional Wellstar locations. Surgical Oncology practice call will be 1:3. No ER call as this is covered by trauma/emergency general surgery. The surgical oncologist will be supported and trained by our well-established Surgical Oncologists located at our largest hospital in Marietta, GA, Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Requirements

Board eligible or board certified and fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology. Robotics interest and/or experience. Interest in having a full surgical oncology practice.
