Under our growing Infirmary Cancer Care program, Infirmary Health has developed an integrated, system wide, multi-disciplinary cancer program. Infirmary Cancer Care is currently one of two NAPBC-accredited centers in the state of Alabama. Infirmary Surgical Specialists, which consists of 8 surgeons specializing in Breast Surgical Oncology, Surgical Oncology/HPB, Colorectal Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and General Surgery, is looking for a Breast Surgeon to join its expanding practice.

The current breast program includes 2 dedicated Breast Surgeons, 3 Radiation Oncologists, 5 Medical Oncologists, Breast Radiology, pathology, breast navigators, genetic counselor, a nurse practitioner driven high-risk breast clinic, lymphedema therapy, breast clinical trials, and social services for breast cancer patients. There are two dedicated breast centers and six additional screening mammography centers. Infirmary Health screened more than 25,000 women in 2021. Last year Infirmary Cancer Care had over 400 analytical breast cancer cases.
